Exercise Physiology
An exercise physiologist is a university-qualified health professional who specialises in using targeted exercise programs to prevent, manage, and treat chronic conditions and injuries. They assess how the body responds to physical activity and design personalised, evidence-based exercise plans to improve strength, mobility, cardiovascular health, and overall function.
Exercise physiologists work with people living with conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, and musculoskeletal injuries, helping them move safely, build confidence, and achieve long-term health and performance goals. We run cancer and cardiac classes for individuals recovering from cardiac conditions and cancer and the associated treatments involved.
Our team of EP’s spend many hours in the hydrotherapy pool running our hydro programs for NDIS, workcover/CTP, athletes and everyone in between. And you will also see them running our balance programs for the elderly. They run specific strength and conditioning programs for teens as well of the ageing population.
The EPs work hand in hand with the physio’s to make sure every aspect of your rehabilitation is absolutely perfect.
