Andy Hsieh – physiotherapist
Andy is a physiotherapist with a strong interest in sports injury, musculoskeletal physiotherapy and helping people return to the activities that matter to them. He has experience working across private practice, orthopaedic and sports environments, and treating a wide range of sporting and musculoskeletal conditions.
Andy currently works with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks pathways program, providing on-field coverage, injury assessment and gym-based rehabilitation for rugby league athletes. He also has experience providing sports coverage across AFL, rugby union, basketball and track and field, including his previous role as Head Physiotherapist for the Parramatta Goannas AFL program. These experiences have developed his skills in acute injury management, rehabilitation planning and return-to-play decision-making in demanding sporting environments.
Andy is currently completing a Master of Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland and is due to complete this at the end of 2026. He will then become an APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. He is committed to ongoing professional development and he particularly enjoys working with athletes and active individuals to build confidence, restore physical capacity and support a safe and sustainable return to sport and everyday activity.
